Ronan Barrot solo exhibition: Close to a retrospective

15 December 2020 - 30 August 2021

"And immediately, I had the feeling that Ronan Barrot's paintings were one of the most convincing and frantic manifestations of what, in any art, goes back to its silent emergence."

Eric Vuillard, 2020

Since his first presentation at the Marc Chagall Museum in Nice in 2006 to today, fourteen years have passed, which have seen the work of Ronan Barrot grow. Attached and faithful to the city of Nice, he shows his affection with a personal exhibition inaugurating this new Gallery. In return, the Gallery decided to present the painter’s work from the broadest angle, close to that of a retrospective: the exhibition shows a multitude of art works, whose variety of themes, palettes and dimensions will allow the public to grasp as close as possible the remarquable work of Ronan Barrot, "Painter, entirely painter" as said about him Olivier Cena in Teleram in 2009, contemporary and together from the "classic familiy", standing by major old masters as Courbet, Gericault and Goya.
